The Bed Bug Tracker exists to give people a reliable and neutral platform for reporting their encounters with bed bugs. Though most people in the world still have yet to encounter a bed bug, these pests are spreading rapidly across the United States and World.

Bed bugs are easy to transport in luggage, personal items, vehicles and very difficult to get rid of. This is why they have become a nuisance for hotels, dorms, hospitals, movie theaters, libraries, and other public spaces where people contract the infestation and take it home. You can’t tell whether a building or hotel room has them based on cleanliness – the bugs can thrive anywhere there are cracks and crevices to hide in. If you’re interested in learning more about bed bugs, finding resources on identification, and how to exterminate them please visit Bed Bugs Everywhere and The Bed Bug Commission.

Please remember that chemical pesticides despite their claims are NOT safe to use, and we only endorse/recommend heat treatments. Bed bug infestations are not something to be ashamed of and it is critical that people understand the importance of education, identification, and eradication.

The Bed Bug Tracker is a user generated outbreak and infestation mapping system designed to empower people with knowledge of local outbreaks. This data helps people to prevent further infestation and avoid places with a recent outbreak.

If you’d like to check for Bed Bugs simply click on your country, state, or city then search by name or address. Were you bitten by a Bed Bug at a hotel, apartment, your home, etc.? Please submit that information at the bottom of each map.

Each of our maps we have a sponsorship section featuring local companies that perform Bed Bug extermination. The Bed Bug Tracker does not endorse chemical treatments as they are not as effective while also being hazardous to your health.
